How to get to

By car

From the North: take A1 motorway, exiting at “Firenze Impruneta”; take “Autopalio” Florence–Siena dual carriageway, exiting at Colle di Val D'Elsa Sud; follow signs for Colle di Val D'Elsa.
From the South: take A1 motorway, exiting at “Valdichiana”; take Bettolle–Siena dual carriageway towards Siena; on reaching Siena, stay on dual carriageway following signs for Florence ("Firenze"); this will put you on the "Autopalio" Siena–Florence dual carriageway; exit at Colle di Val D'Elsa Sud exit; follow signs for Colle di Val D'Elsa.

The Museum is in the old town. Motorists are advised to use the free car park situated in Strada della Fornacina situated behind the Museum, close to the Porta Nuova city gate.
